09/10/2020 BPMS Zoom Mini-meeting report

Fourteen people attended the meeting. In progress and completed work included: F16I, FW 190, Ford P 68, Hurricane, Ka 25, Panther A and 1925 Model T. We continue to acquire new kits: Rafale, P51 (with 12 choices of markings) , 1956 Ferrari Lancia, 1914 Mercedes GP, Bisnovat SK1 and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. Yes, that's a kit. We discussed various ways of applying zimmerit, who has the most airbrushes and why, how Tamiya's pink primer improves red final coats, sources for STL files/plans for 3D printed models, and the fun of looking for kits at Baseline Hobbies. Also, New London is hosting the Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival this weekend, check their website for details. The next meeting is Sept 17 at 8 pm. Invites to follow. Hope to see you there.
