April was a perfect comeback after the March wash-out. We had 32 members and one guest bringing in 30+ models and works in progress for a huge meeting. It’s really nice not to have an ice storm on meeting night!
APRIL MEETING!!!
WORK IN PROGRESS NIGHT: This is ALWAYS a lot of fun. Who doesn’t have projects on the work-bench? And we got to see what were those projects were. A lot of neat items and a lot of educational words for the group.

DECAL SWAP NIGHT: Decals! It’s as much a part of this hobby as glue and paint. We all have them. Guys brought decals in, and other got to leave with them.

DESERT THEME NIGHT: This was the first theme meeting of 2007. Members brought in a lot of great desert items for display. Thanks a lot guys for such an awesome showing!

THEME DISCUSSION: We already know what the first theme contest for 2007 will be, VINTAGE 1965 sponsored by our Lord of Awards Ed D. We got Frank C, James M, Russ and your humble narrator to commit to the “We Mean Business” Theme for December. Nothing says Christmas like capitalism!
On the agenda: May
CONTEST NIGHT 2Q07: This will be the second installment of the BPMS Annual contest. You know, the quarterly one that you put your work on the table and the members place their votes to be combined with the votes of the other quarterly contests for the end of the year.

PARTS BOX NIGHT: Parts! Who doesn’t have spare parts box? If you have spare parts that you would like to share, feel free to bring them in! This is the night to lessen that load!

SWAP NIGHT: Bring in kits to sell or trade. Don’t forget to bring some cash, you never know when you’ll see that grail kit and there’s no tab at this bar!
The May 2007 meeting will be on the 18th!!!
Same time, same place!
