Nineteen people attended the meeting. Some good news, Rudy's, in Astotria, is open again. Hours can vary. Check before you go. We saw a wide range of in progress and completed work: General Zod, Dracula, Quasimodo, Medusa, Corvette, Bronco, Moon Ship (aka Lunar Lander), P40 and Chezk crop duster. We saw newly acquired kits and tools: Ju EF 126, F 4e, Challenger 2, Ball Tank, He 70, FW 189, Rabelo (aka Portuguese wine boat), eyeglass mounted headlamp, and micro tweezer set. We discussed equipment - at least one guy still has a Mattel Vac-u-form - materials - 3D printed resin parts, electrically conductive paint- and fabrication - making metal parts to replace warped resin ones. We'd be remiss not to thank the family of an old member, Don B, for donating his unbuilt kits to BPMS. Thanks as well to the guys who picked up the kits. Next meeting is October 8 at 8 pm. Invites to follow. Hope to see you then.
