Bulletin: March 2008

T H E M I N U T E S
by Bobby the Blue
February was another great meeting with a turnout of 26 members, one guest bringing in 23 models for display and the contest

FEBRUARY MEETING!!!

SHOW US YOUR TOOL: For the first time ever this activity was a bust. I guess we didn’t publicize it enough. Perhaps we’ll schedule another one for later in the year.

CONTEST NIGHT 1Q08: We had the first installment of the annual contest. There were some great entries on the tables. The race is on!

You can see pics from each meeting on Gordon’s blog:

On the agenda: March
DECAL SWAP NIGHT: Just how it sounds, Decal Swap Night, bring in decals to trade or sell. Bring some money, you never know when someone will be dumping those markings you’ve been looking for!

A NIGHT OF PANEL LINES: This will be the first “panel discussion” of the year. Our subject will be Panel Lines. Hosted by Hugh, Charlie, Jimmy and your humble narrator, we hope to present the group with some information that they might not have known previously, or maybe a useful perspective. We are also asking every member to bring in finished models from their collection that show examples of panel lines so we can make this an overall theme for the night. If anyone would like to kick in a couple words, feel free to do so!

The march meeting will be held on
03/21/2008
