Pics from the April Meeting

Hi everyone! My apologies for this month's photos. If you have not realized it yet, the photos are not up to my standards and somewhat horrible due to the fact that I was using a new camera. I believe I finally work out all the kinks and next meetings photos should be back to a higher quality.

Bulletin, April 2008

T H E M I N U T E S
by Bobby P.

March was another great meeting with a turnout of 29 members, 2 guests bringing in 20 models for display and the contest

MARCH MEETING!!!

DECAL SWAP NIGHT: It was more like a general swap night with all the goodies up for sale on the tables. Some guys unloaded some stuff, and others were happy to buy it. A happy compromise!

A NIGHT OF PANEL LINES: The first “panel discussion” of the year turned out awesome. Charlie and Hugh did an amazing job of describing their methods for doing panel lines on aircraft. It was a very educational clinic. Gordon has some pics and Hugh’s PowerPoint Presentation in his blog.

You can see pics from each meeting on Gordon’s blog:

On the agenda: April
SWAP MEET: Just how it sounds, Swap Meet, bring in goodies to trade or sell. Bring some money, you never know when someone will be dumping that kit you’ve been looking for!

WORK IN PROGRESS NIGHT / FAVORITE MODEL: What are you working on? What’s on the workbench? What model do you really love? Built or Unbuilt? Grab something and bring it in and be prepared to tell the group a couple words about it. Both of these activities are fun on their own, but combined we should have a great time!

REGARDING PHOTO ROSTER STATUS: Hugh sent me a series of emails with the finished product. Let’s see if I can get it into the upcoming bulletins. Since it’s over six pages, I will, likely, be including one page per month, so you will have to save at least one page from the bulletin each month if you want to have the complete roster.
