April was another strong month. We had 24 members and no guests who brought in 25 models for display including about a dozens works in progress. 

April Meeting 

WORK IN PROGRESS NIGHT: Several members brought in their WiPs to show the group. Since everything was so integrated on the tables, we asked everyone to tell us a couple words about their displays. 

MAY MEETING CONFLICT: The facility was needed on our usual night so we swapped it for MAY 12!!!

BPMS SHIRTS: Gordon heard some members mentioning that some club shirts would be nice for the conventions and took it upon himself to design a fine polo shirt with a modified logo embroidered on the chest at a reasonable price below $25. Contact Gordon with your needs! 

HANDLING MODELS: Proper hobby etiquette dictates that you should not touch anyone’s model without first asking for permission. Please refrain from touching models. Thanks in advance for observing this rule. 

Raffle: We had another raffle with a remarkable assortment of prizes. The club is always looking for donations for these activities.

CONTEST NIGHT-2Q17: Where has the time gone? We’re already up to our second quarterly installment of the annual contest. Bring in your good work to rack up some votes! 

PARTS BOX: We all have a box of spare parts. Feel free to bring in yours to share with the group. Something you may never use could be gold to another member! 

JUNE THEME: It’s been settled, Vinny Rosati and your humble narrator chose to sponsor a 

STAR WARS 

theme contest. More details HERE.

2017 Model Pledge: April was the deadline; it’s now time to get to work! Please have your pledge finished for OCTOBER 2017, for a display. After October you may bring back your pledge for the November meeting for the last contest of the year. For your efforts you get an additional FIVE Super Raffle tickets for completing your pledge! Sweet! Easy enough! This is your last month to sign up!
