BPMS Zoom Mini Meeting: 01/10/2023

No Zoom next Tuesday, as the January in person meeting is next Friday, the 20th. Meeting details are in the flyer. Check your mailbox.
Twelve people, one cat and one goose attended the 1/10/23 meeting (yes, a cat and a goose). New releases: 1/72 U2-C (Hobby Boss) and 1/35 Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (Dragon). Also, Tamiya paint brushes have come down in cost.
In process and completed work included: A-6, Lysander, X Wing fighter (a late entry to last week's big model discussion. Joe promises to bring it, and some other large kits, to the 1/20/23 meeting), C-130, T-34 (Michael expected a quick build. Then the vinyl track melted. We could tell you how he fixed it,  but then you wouldn't bother joining the Zoom), Wild West Marshal figure, masked female figure and Jagdpanther (the incompletely molded parts were an unwelcome surprise to Russ. Kevin suggested Blue Stuff). Acquisitions included: Zaku II and a new, inexpensive but noisy, compressor. A headband magnifier was the featured tool. Wildy available, easy to use and inexpensive. No reason not to have one.
A quiz to start the New Year. Guess who made these resolutions: Make fewer mistakes. Keep doing what I'm doing. Sell more products. Build more helicopters. Build out my new workshop. Paint the kits I've built. Build a little more. Build 30-60 minutes every day. Build Ukrainian models. Finish 5 incomplete models.
The next meeting is 1/20/23 at the Community Center. Doors open around 6pm, and the meeting starts around 7:30 pm. If you're going to declare a Pledge Model for 2023, bring the unbuilt kit to the meeting. Hope you can make it,  but if you can't, check the livestream on the Club's Facebook page. Stay safe.
Russ
