RIVETS!
This
December, think rivets, the ubiquitous fasteners you see on bridges,
battleships and blue jeans. You also see them on almost every model kit. Early
kits were famous for their rivets, the bigger the better. Now you can build
that classic reissue without embarrassment. Or you can build a newer kit where
the rivets are to scale. Entries can be any time period, any category, any
scale [FYI: Judges may have difficulty counting rivets on a 1/700 scale
destroyer]. And for you SOBs (Sons Of Brooklyn) in BPMS, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place awards will have a special place on your shelf. One last thing, the
Frankenstein Monster had electrodes in his neck, not rivets. So stop screwing
around, bolt the door and start building something with rivets.
